Emergency services have been called to a seafront after a man fell from a building.
Police and fire crews were called to The Esplanade in Bognor earlier this morning and the seafront was closed in both directions.
A fire engine and several police cars were at the scene. The area was cordoned off to the public and a tarpaulin put up.
The road remains closed, with heavy traffic reported in the area.
A police spokesman said that emergency services were called at around 9am this morning and officers are still at the incident as enquiries continue.

He said: “Emergency services were called to The Esplanade in Bognor at around 9am to reports of a man having fallen from a building.
“Police and multi-agency partners remain at the scene and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
Anyone who witnessed the incident is urged to contact police online or via 101, quoting serial 256 of 13/02.
