A McDonald’s restaurant in a town centre has reopened after a police investigation into an incident.

The fast food outlet in Liverpool Road in Worthing was cordoned off by police yesterday evening following an incident, with forensics teams spotted at the scene.

Officers were seen inspecting in the restaurant, as well as examining two knives that were found nearby.

The restaurant has since reopened following the investigation by police.

McDonald’s has been approached for comment.
