Emergency services have attended the scene of a crash involving a van on the A23.

The van, which was seen parked on the side of the road, suffered significant damage to the front of the vehicle.

Police attended the scene of the crash near Pyecombe which took place this afternoon.

A police vehicle was pictured by the side of the road near the smashed up white van.

Traffic data suggests that the crash involved the van and an HGV lorry.

Sussex Police have been approached for comment. The road is said to have now been cleared.
