A man from Brighton has denied planning to buy a firearm and kill a Christian preacher in London’s Hyde Park.

Edward Little, 21, is alleged to have planned the terror attack and has been charged with engaging in preparation of terrorist acts.

Little, of Pelham Street in Brighton, appeared at the Old Bailey today and spoke only to confirm his identity.

A plea hearing has been set for next year after Little was arrested on September 23, 2022.

He had taken a taxi from Brighton to London and allegedly planned to kill the Christian preacher and others gathered at Speakers’ Corner in Hyde Park.
