Bernie Sanders is coming to Brighton for a one-night-only event to demand political and economic change.
The former US presidential hopeful will be joined on stage by comedian and former Sussex University student Frankie Boyle to discuss the faults in the capitalist system and “take on the one per cent”.
The event, at the Brighton Dome, promises to discuss how the economic order allows billionaires to control more wealth than billions of people and the energy system that allows fossil fuel corporations to benefit from subsidies while fuelling the climate crisis.
Mr Sanders will also set out a vision of “what would be possible if the political revolution took place”.
The longest-serving independent senator, Bernie Sanders ran as a presidential candidate for both the 2016 and 2020 elections.
A self-described “democratic socialist”, Mr Sanders has previously backed universal healthcare, paid parental leave, and tighter gun control legislation.
Only a handful of tickets are left for the event, on February 24 at 7.30pm, which are available from the Brighton Dome website from £35.
