The region's buzzing food scene is set to get even more exciting as high-end Indian eatery Dishoom submits plans to open inthe city centre.
With sites in trendy areas like Shoreditch, Manchester, and Covent Garden, Brighton’s East Street is next on the list as the chain looks to expand.
Dishoom already offers takeaway via Deliveroo, but now plans to give diners the full experience with an eat-in restaurant in the heart of the city.

The chain has submitted an application to Brighton and Hove City Council to sell alcohol between 8am and midnight, every day.
Brighton’s potential Dishoom is described as “a restaurant with ancillary bar and external terrace” on the licence application.
The brand is hugely popular for its authentic Indian flavours and classic dishes.
Plans were submitted to the city council on February 22 with the consultation window until April 4.
