Renowned drag performer La Voix will take to the main stage at this year’s Chichester Pride, organisers have announced.

The London singer and entertainer has previously featured as a semi-finalist on Britain’s Got Talent and was a contestant on TV's Queen Of The Universe.

Attendees have been promised “side-splitting comedy” and that they will be “wowed with her incredible voice”.

Stuart Burrows, a representative of Chichester Pride, said: “We are delighted to be welcoming the incredible La Voix to Chichester Pride this year.

“She is a hugely talented singer and comedian. Every time I’ve seen her on stage she has her audience in stitches.

“I can’t wait to see her in action, and this is a great opportunity for everyone to see this drag superstar up close and personal on our main stage.”

Alongside La Voix, the main stage will also be graced by Elberace (aka Gay Elvis), Scarlett Von Kok, Rylee Spooner and many others.

Pride-goers will have the opportunity to enjoy themselves at a roller disco.

This year’s Pride festivities will be the second to take place in the city and promise “a celebration of diversity, inclusivity and love”.

Tickets to the event at the Chichester College campus on May 27 are available from Chichester Pride’s website.
