A popular city centre cocktail bar is opening a new bar in the city this summer.
The Plotting Parlour, a high-end drinking spot in Brighton, will open a second venue at the former Café Malbec site in Church Road, Hove.
Its current site in Steine Street offers guests “signature creations and classic cocktails” as well as beers, wines, and delicious small plates of food.
Work has already begun to transform The Plotting Parlour’s new site into one fit for its award-winning beverages, having scooped the prize for best cocktails at this year’s Brighton Restaurant Awards.

The expansion means the bar is looking for “talented bartenders” to join its team.
The Argus previously visited The Plotting Parlour and enjoyed an afternoon watching industry experts crafting delicious drinks.
Our reviewer said: “The Plotting Parlour is a triumph. But it is also, by its own admission, ‘Brighton’s best kept secret’. This is the life.”
An official opening date has not yet been confirmed.
