A lane of the A27 is closed after a collision along the highway.
Police and crews from Highways England have been called to a section of the A27 near the Coach and Horses pub in Worthing following the crash.
The car involved was seen badly smashed following the collision.
Traffic is moving slowly westbound from Poling Street (Poling Corner) to A284 Crossbush Junction.
Sussex Police have been contacted for comment.
