Arundel Castle has been named as one of the country’s top hidden gems to visit in the lead-up to the coronation of King Charles III.
The research analysed 155 castles across England based on visitor reviews and how often they appeared in social media posts to create a ranked index of the “lesser-known hidden gems” to visit.
Hever Castle in Kent was crowned the biggest hidden gem among English castles, with Arundel Castle and Bewcastle Castle in Cumbria completing the top three.
