On Monday night, the most fashionable night of the year returns. The met gala is back and it’s better than ever. The theme for the 2023 Met Gala is Karl Lagerfeld and it will pay a tribute to all his legendary fashion moments throughout his life. Many A-list celebrities will be attending this year but sadly the leading lady Blake lively will not be returning this year as she has some other important plans she is attending too!  

So, what can we expect this year? As the fabulous theme this year is, the met gala celebs are known for going off course when it comes to the theme. We can expect a blast in the past looking at  Lagerfeld’s 65 year old career and we can hope that everyone captures his input in fashion uniquely. We should see multiple timeless, vintage throwbacks in honour of Lagerfeld and his legacy. Kim Kardashian states to “Make Lagerfeld proud!” in her fashion choice this year.  

Emma Chamberlain will return as co-host and as last year she will hopefully be as entertaining and fun to watch. We how to witness another awkward interaction between her and Jack Harlow!  

 The met will commence at 6:30PM EST on May 1, 2023 and Vogue will stream the whole iconic staircase walk of each celebrity! Don’t let us down and stick to the theme.
