As many of us gear up for the long coronation weekend to celebrate the new reign of King Charles, we have found some of the best things for you to do in West Sussex.

Hundreds of events will be taking place across the county to ring in the big day, from street parties to screenings of the day's proceedings.

Chichester Cathedral

From 10am on Saturday the big event will be screened in the picturesque grounds of Chichester Cathedral.

Everyone is welcome to sit on a deckchair and picnic in Cathedral Green while the proceedings are broadcast.

The city centre will be adorned with Union flags and coronation flags designed by school children.
