Potholes outside a college have been repaired after one fed-up motorist took to the road with a can of spray paint in a rather rude protest.
Residents and college students in Downsview Crescent, Uckfield, were surprised to see numerous penises circled around potholes.
The new street art attracted much attention after it appeared on the road early on Thursday morning.
The graffiti covered several metres of road outside the entrance to Uckfield College.
The council turned up the very same afternoon to try remove the graffiti using a street cleaning lorry - which only made it worse, according to nearby resident Helen Carr.
Some of the worst potholes were filled by engineers the following morning.

Across the county, frustration about potholes has been taken out in a variety of creative ways. In January 2020, Worthing councillors Martin McCabe and Bob Smytherman held a birthday party for a two-year-old pothole - complete with cake and candles.
More recently, in Worthing, a sign was installed to warn drivers of the bumpy ride ahead.
It said: "Remove dentures. Adjust bra straps. Secure your nuts. Welcome to the worst maintained road in the county. Courtesy of West Sussex County Council."
East Sussex County Council has been approached for comment.
