A motorcyclist has died after a crash involving a car near the A27.
The 35-year-old man died at the scene on the A29 Fontwell Avenue near Fontwell services following the crash just before midday yesterday.
A Volvo driver was uninjured in the crash.
The driver, 28, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
He has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
The road was closed for several hours while crash investigation work was done by officers.
The motorcyclist's next of kin have been informed.

PC Paul Waltho from the Roads Policing Unit said: “We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or has any relevant dashcam or CCTV footage of it, which could help our investigation.”
