The man charged with the murder of a young mum was pictured for the first time as he appeared at court.
Ryan Evans was arrested and charged after a 32-year-old mum of four was found dead outside a bungalow in Oates Walk, Crawley.
He arrived at Lewes Crown Court on Tuesday, charged with the murder of Holly Sanchez. He was handcuffed to a guard who escorted him out of the prison van.
Evans, 30, arrived wearing a grey jumper and jogging bottoms on Wednesday morning for his first hearing following the death of Holly. She was found with fatal head injuries.
He will next appear at Lewes Crown Court in June ahead of a potential trial date in October.
Three men, all known to Holly, were arrested in connection with her death - including Ryan Evans who lives in Oates Walk.
The two other men aged 37 and 60, who were arrested on suspicion of murder, have since been released on bail.
Police were called to the home, which Holly did not live at, on Saturday morning at around 9am amid concerns for Holly's medical health. Despite the best efforts of emergency services she was pronounced dead at the scene.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "Her next of kin are being supported at this difficult time.
"The investigation is ongoing and anyone with any information is urged to report it online or call 101, quoting Operation Gladstone."
