A youngster scaled the side of a building in a spiderman-inspired stunt... but when police arrived he was nowhere to be found.
Andrew Fry, from Burgess Hill, captured the moment the tearaway teen climbed up the side of the Martlets Shopping Centre in the town centre.
The youngster was spotted brazenly clambering onto the rooftop of the shopping centre in front of a CCTV camera.
Andrew called 999 to tell police of the unfolding incident.
But when the officers arrived, there was no trace of the parkouring youngster.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "We received a report of persons on the roof of The Martlets Shopping Centre in Burgess Hill around 6.20pm on Thursday 25 May.
"An officer attended but found no trace."
