Emergency services have been at the scene of a collision between two vehicles this afternoon.

Police, ambulance crews and the fire service responded to a crash on the A29 at Shripney, near Bognor, at around 1.25pm today (June 3).

Shripney Road (A29) is currently closed in both directions between A259 and Sack Lane.

West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service confirmed two fire engines and a heavy rescue tender were on scene earlier this afternoon.

Traffic is queueing both ways as drivers are being advised to avoid the area.

Sussex Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment.
