The front of an Indian restaurant has been damaged in a car crash.
The smash happened last night at around 8pm at Taza restaurant in London Road, Burgess Hill.
A silver Kia mounted the pavement and went into the front of the restaurant.
There was understood to be no serious injuries at the scene.
Sussex Police set up a cordon following the crash.
Imanuz Zaman, owner of Taza, said the business is open as usual after the crash.
The 64-year-old said: βIt happened at around 8pm, it was a Monday so it was not too busy. There were some customers inside at the time.
"Some customers were quite lucky because they were by the window on the other side.β
Mr Zaman said another vehicle hit the restaurant a few years ago on the side where the other customers were sitting last night.
