A married couple found dead at their home in Newhaven have been named by police.
The bodies of 33-year-old Josh Bashford and 30-year-old Chloe Bashford were discovered after officers were called to their home in Lewes Road, Newhaven, shortly after 7pm on Friday.
Their next of kin have been informed and continue to be supported by police.
Derek Martin, also known as Derek Glenn, 64, from Moulsecoomb Way in Brighton, has been charged with their murder.
A police spokesman confirmed that he was known to the couple.
Mr Martin has been remanded in custody and is due to appear before Brighton Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
A post-mortem is due to take place next week.
