Brighton and Hove City Council has released its weekly list of planning applications.
The following list was filed between June 5 and June 11.
Among the notable applications is BH2023/01590, which seeks to change the use of a language school in Holland Road in Hove to a private house.
BH2023/01522 is an application for change of use from a tattoo parlour to a non-alcoholic bar in George Street in Brighton.
The weekly list also includes applications for single and two-storey extensions, replacement of windows, and modifications to existing buildings across several neighbourhoods, including Kemp Town, Queen’s Park, and West Hill and North Laine.
In Brunswick and Adelaide, applications BH2023/01518 and BH2023/01517 seek the demolition of existing garage blocks and breeze block walls to make way for two-storey homes.
BH2023/01594 is an application for a home office and domestic store in a rear garden in Wilbury Road, Hove.
BH2023/01467 seeks to replace an existing door with a new steel security door at Hove Library in Church Road.

In Regency, BH2023/01188 and BH2023/01189 are applications for rear ground floor and lower ground-floor extensions, addition of lantern rooflights, external staircase, replacement basement windows, and balconies in Montpelier Road.
BH2023/01511 seeks a change of use from an artist’s studio in Clifton Hill to a tattoo studio.
In Round Hill, BH2023/01545 is an application for the replacement of a shopfront to allow for the creation of a restaurant.
Applications for single-storey rear extensions are also included in the list, including BH2023/01374 in Hartington Road in Hanover and BH2023/01354 in Holmes Avenue in Hove.
In West Hill and North Laine, BH2023/01591 is an application for the change of use of a small house in multiple occupation to three self-contained flats.
The weekly list also includes applications for the realignment of pedestrian access across Black Rock Site and surroundings in Madeira Drive.
