The fundraiser for the four children of a couple found dead in their homes has reached £25,000.
Chloe Bashford, 30, and her husband Josh Bashford, 33, were found at the house in Lewes Road, Newhaven, by police shortly after 7pm on Friday, June 9.
Derek Martin, also known as Derek Glenn appeared in Lewes Crown Court on Wednesday accused of their murders.
A police spokesman confirmed that the 64-year-old was known to the couple.
Kayleigh Last, a niece of the Bashfords, launched a fundraiser to support their children Brooklyn, 15, Ava, 12, Mila, eight, and Joshua, four.
Writing on GoFundMe, Ms Last said the children were "cared for and grieving with the whole family".

Ms Last wrote: "First of all we want to say thank you for all the support our family have received in this difficult time.
"Chloe and Josh were the most incredible and loving parents to four amazing children."
Martin, of Moulsecoomb Way in Brighton, has been remanded in custody will appear in court again on August 3 to enter a plea.
His mental state at the time of the killings will be assessed and a provisional trial date has been set for November 27.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "The immediate families of Josh and Chloe have reiterated they do not wish to add any further information or be approached for comment at this time and we urge the press and public to respect their right to privacy."
A post mortem was scheduled to take place this week.
Detective Chief Inspector Kimball Edey, of the Surrey and Sussex major crime team, said: “Our thoughts remain with the families of the two victims at this extremely difficult time.
“While our work to establish the exact circumstances of what happened are ongoing we are not seeking anyone else in connection with the matter.
“I’d like to thank the public for their understanding and remind them not to speculate or comment on anything which could jeopardise our investigation in the meantime.”
