Brighton and Hove City Council has released its weekly list of planning applications.

The following are just some of those listed between June 12 and 18.

In Regency, BH2023/01606 relates to a business at 40 Norfolk Square in Brighton.

It seeks permission for the replacement of the opening hours panel and the display of two non-illuminated window-mounted vinyl graphics.

BH2023/01589 relates to the main building of Ovingdean Hall English Language School at Greenways. It wants to make external alterations, including new fire escape doors, the relocation of a kitchen extract flue, removal of a fire escape ladder and new windows.

Internal alterations include the removal of partition walls, new stairs for a fire exit, replacement of internal doors and the removal of service runs, acoustic panels to walls and ceilings and replacement fireplaces.

Application BH2023/01658 seeks approval for Hollingdean Depot in Upper Hollingdean Road, Brighton, to demolish an office building in the centre of the site.

Other applications that appear on the weekly list include BH2023/01304 in Hanover and Elm Grove, which proposes the conversion of a shop into a house and BH2023/01476 in Westbourne and Poets' Corner, which seeks permission for a single-storey croquet club hut.

The council also received planning applications in Goldsmid, Hangleton and Knoll, Patcham and Hollingbury, Queen's Park, Round Hill, South Portslade, Wish and Woodingdean.
