A porky pig has been rescued from a ditch after getting stuck this morning.
Fire services were called to a rural road to haul the hog out of the ditch after it was unable to climb out of the hole.
Following the successful rescue, the porker was reunited with its owner.
A West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “This morning our Technical Rescue Unit was dispatched to Birdham Road near Chichester to rescue a large pig stuck in a deep ditch.
“Within an hour the hapless porker was reunited with its owner, we were very happy to help.”
