The death of a man whose body was found in a park at the weekend is not being treated as suspicious, police have confirmed.
Stephen Vinall, 37, from Brighton, was discovered in East Brighton Park on Sunday morning.
Detectives have told The Argus they do not believe anyone else was involved.
Results of a post-mortem on his body were described as "inconclusive".
Police are now waiting for the results of toxicology tests on the remains to establish whether drugs played a part in his death.
Mr Vinall's body was found near bushes in the park.
Police cordoned off the area and detectives from Sussex Police's major crime branch were called in to investigate.
The inquiry has now been handed over to Brighton CID.
Mr Vinall's body was formally identified yesterday afternoon by his family.
Anyone with information about his movements in the days before his body was found is asked to call Sussex Police on 0845 6070999.
