Festivalgoers were left stunned after spotting Hollywood actor Tom Hardy get in full kit for a medieval joust.
The Peaky Blinders and Inception star was spotted at the Loxwood Joust on Sunday, August 13.
He got stuck in the medieval action, which he stumbled on while out on a walk in Loxwood, near Billingshurst.
The festival is the UK's "most spectacular immersive medieval and jousting festival" and 45-year-old Tom is no stranger to convincing sets.
Posting snippets of the tournament to his Instagram, the actor wrote: "This might have happened today. Random day out in the English countryside nipping to the shops."

It is not the first time the star has been spotted in the county.
Last year, The Mad Max: Fury Road actor attended the Into the Wild festival on the Chiddinglye Estate, East Grinstead.
Festival founder Huw Williams was thrilled to see Tom over the August bank holiday weekend as he attended with his wife and children.
