Four people have been arrested on suspicion of drug-related offences and criminal damage after a man was found dead at a house in Brighton city centre.
The man, in his 20s, was found dead in flats in Gloucester Place with police and firearms officer forming a cordon around the building.
Sussex Police say that the death is being treated as unexpected and later confirmed that four people had been detained in relation to the incident.
A force spokeswoman said: "Emergency services were called to a property in Gloucester Place, Brighton, around 2.15pm on Sunday, August 20, due to concerns for the welfare of a man.

"Sadly, a man in his 20s was confirmed deceased at the address. His next of kin have been informed.
"The death is currently being treated as unexpected and is still under investigation."
It was later confirmed that four were "in custody for drug-related offences and criminal damage".
The cordon around the house included multiple officers inside the taped off area.
Forensic officers were also seen within the cordon.
At the scene The Argus saw crowds of people.
