A map shows where lightning is striking Sussex as the county is hit by a thunderstorm.
After a dry morning, much of Brighton has been hit with sheet lightning and thunder with outbreaks of heavy rain.
It is expected to continue into the afternoon but by night time the rain and stormy weather will stop.

The bank holiday weekend is forecast to be mixed.
Officials at the Met Office have predicted a thundery afternoon on Saturday.
Sunday should start off sunny and by the afternoon it will cloud over.
Monday is expected to be mostly sunny, with temperatures reaching 20 degrees.

Hove weather enthusiast Glenn Goldring said:" The storm started in Hove at 3.15pm and finished at 3.45pm.
"The highest rain rate (the heaviest burst) was 76.2mm per hour.
"The total rainfall in that 30 minute storm was 7.8mm which is quite considerable within the short timeframe."
