A police chase ended with two traffic officers injured and three patrol cars damaged.
A Ford Mondeo had failed to stop when asked to by officers in a marked car on the A259 in Littlehampton.
They chased the car to Aldsworth Avenue in Worthing, where three police cars were damaged while bringing it to a halt.
Two officers were taken to Worthing Hospital with whiplash injuries.
The driver of the Mondeo was arrested.
