A sports car has been destroyed by a fire on the A27.
Firefighters from Brighton were called to the blaze on the westbound carriageway, near the junction for the A23, at 8.10pm today.
Other drivers were forced to move into the road's outside lane to avoid smoke from the car, while its crestfallen owners looked on.
