Truly a shindig that looks as terrifying as it does unmissable, Brighton's own asylum for ill-advisedly quiffed rockabilly madmen meets a fierce friend in the form of London's Gypsy Hotel.
Known for welcoming semi-clad firebreathers, voodoo dancers and good old-fashioned no-holds-barred rock and roll bands and musicians, the visiting loons enjoy "bourbon-soaked, snake-charmin'" cabaret showcases of the bizarre on a semi-regular basis - presumably to allow time for recovery - at the capital's Bardens Boudoir.
