The mighty portable steam engines that helped power the industrial revolution, particularly in agriculture, are being celebrated for the first time in Dial Post.
Sussex Steam Shows has teamed up with the Sussex Steam Engine Club for two days of working exhibits, vintage vehicles and stalls.
As well as the chance to see the monster engines in action, there will be a funfair complete with a wall of death, refreshments and a licensed bar.
The event will be raising money for the club and for their chosen charity - the burns unit at East Grinstead's Queen Victoria Hospital.
- Starts 9am, tickets £7/£4, £20 family of four. Call 01273 400324.
