A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after a crash on the A259.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the crash, involving a motorbike and a van, in Saltdean on Friday afternoon.
Witnesses to the crash were seen helping the injured motorcyclist before ambulance crews arrived.
Police have confirmed the man was taken to hospital with injuries.
One lane of the A259, a key highway along the south coast, was closed while emergency services attended to the incident.
