Soul and pop band Simply Red are coming to Brighton for a special tour to mark their 40th anniversary.
Mick Hucknall formed the band in Manchester back in 1985, enjoying early success with the single Money’s Too Tight To Mention, followed by a decade of global hits.
With more than 60 million albums sold worldwide, five UK number one albums and almost two billion streams across a range of global platforms, the band are heading back on the road in 2025 to tell the story of Simply Red so far, from Picture Book to Time.
A gig at the Brighton Centre is among a series of headline shows in September and October 2025, including in Manchester, Glasgow, Dublin, Liverpool and two nights at London’s O2 Arena.
Pre-sale tickets for all the gigs, including in Brighton on October 7, 2025, start at 10am tomorrow, with general sale starting from Thursday, September 21 at 10am.
Tickets are available from Simply Red’s website.
