Tributes have been paid to Chris Eubank Sr’s brother who has died at the age of 61.

Simon Eubank was the older brother of boxing legend Chris, who lives in Brighton.

The announcement was made today by Simon’s son Harlem Eubank who is a 18-0 super-lightweight prospect.

He posted: "Rest easy up there Dad. We love you and we’ll try do you proud."

Simon and his twin Peter both boxed but it was younger brother Chris, now 57, who went on to have a championship career.

Heartfelt tributes came in from the boxing community.

Boxer Shannon Courtenay said: “Sorry for your loss Harlem, sending you and your family lots of love.”

Irish Olympian Michael Conlan posted: "Sorry for you loss my brother see you soon."

Boxer Alex Dilmaghani said: “I’m so sorry to see this. He was a good man, condolences to you and your family.”

The family also lost Sebastian Eubank in 2021 following a heart attack in Dubai. He was Chris Eubank Sr's son and cousin of Harlem.

Harlem and Chris Eubank Jnr continue to honour Sebastian by bearing his name on their ring shorts.
