Police are appealing for information after a ten-year-old girl was swung around by her ankles.
The girl, who has not been named, received head and leg injuries during the incident.
Police want to speak to one boy and some girls, believed to be in their mid teens.
The assault occurred at about 4pm at the concrete basketball court on the Town Farm Estate, in Hailsham.
The young girl was grabbed by her ankles and wrists and swung around.
The boy involved was wearing a red Manchester United top.
