The case of the Howitt family, who have been forced to find another GP after moving less than four miles away (The Argus, July 1), is another case of completely unnecessary bureaucracy and red tape in the NHS.
However, I would like to reassure the Howitts that, from personal experience, the practice in Links Road, which serves the area they are moving into, is second to none.
From the receptionists right through to the GPs, the staff are of the highest quality. I have no doubt that the Howitt family will appreciate their dedication and commitment as much as I do.
