Hundreds of people were left without water after a water pipe burst near the A27.

Around 900 customers around Falmer faced supply issues following the outage, which happened late on Saturday night.

Teams from Southern Water have been at the scene of the burst beside the A27 near The Keep.

Although repairs are still ongoing, supply has been restored to homes using tankers to inject water into the network.

A slip road off the A27 has been partially closed, but the A270 Lewes Road can still be accessed from the overpass.

Southern Water has apologised for any inconvenience caused.
