A gunman stole money from a Securicor guard outside a bank last night.
The masked raider pulled out the pistol and ordered the Group 4 Securicor cash-in-transit van guard to hand over the cash box he was carrying.
He then fled with an undisclosed amount of money from Nationwide Building Society in Church Road, Hove, at around 9.10pm.
Police described him as white, aged 20-30, wearing a green scarf over his face, dark jeans and a navy blue or black jacket with the hood up.
