I live near the Royal Sussex County Hospital and on many occasions have seen hospital staff sitting on dirty steps leading up to the Bristol Estate. I have also seen them on the grass, where dogs do their mess, in the shoes in which they are going to walk around the hospital. I would like to say we dog owners do pick up after our dogs but that still leaves some germs behind.
The nurses whites are grey and they also smoke without any outer clothes to cover their uniforms. I have also seen doctors or consultants walking around the surrounding streets with a stethoscope around their necks.
All staff should change into their uniforms once they are inside the hospital building. They must be stopped from bringing dirt into hospitals.
