A new petrol station and store has opened in a village.
The new BP site off the A264 at Faygate opened yesterday and features an M&S Food shop, Wild Bean Café and has an outdoor seating area.
The launch has created 20 new jobs and is the village’s first local forecourt.
The Faygate store offers fuels including Ultimate (petrol and diesel) as well as charging points for electric vehicles, with three BP pulse ultra-fast 150kW chargers which have dedicated parking bays.
Customers who are members of the BPme loyalty programme will have access to exclusive discounts on products across the M&S Food and Wild Bean Cafe range when they scan their BPme card or app for purchases in store.
Joanne Hall, UK retail operations director at BP, said: “We’re delighted to open our new retail store in Faygate.
“With no other fuel retailers in the local area, it provides a vital service to residents, and is very close to a popular commuter route. Our fantastic in-store team is looking forward to welcoming customers through the doors this week.”
