A fire which destroyed several cars in a car dealership is being treated as arson.
Firefighters were called to the village of Vine Cross near Heathfield after a number of cars were caught in the blaze yesterday evening.
After putting out the fire, crews have confirmed that they are treating the incident as deliberate.
A spokeswoman for East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called at 7.51pm on October 26 to reports of a fire in Vines Cross, Horam.
“A number of cars were alight at a garage on Nettlesworth Lane.

“The fire is being treated as deliberate.
“No further details are being released at this time.”
Fire crews from Heathfield, Herstmonceux and Hailsham are said to have attended the blaze in Nettlesworth Lane in the village.
Smoke could be seen rising around the building yesterday evening as fire crews continued to assess the scene.
