A man has been charged in connection with a hit-and-run collision in Uckfield
A man has been charged in connection with a hit-and-run collision which saw a cyclist suffer serious injuries.
Emergency services were called to Bellfarm Lane, Uckfield, during morning rush hour on January 16 following the collision, with an 18-year-old woman taken to hospital for her injuries.
Following enquiries, police arrested and later charged Jack Gunn, 35, of New Barn Lane in Uckfield, with causing serious injury by dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of an accident.
Gunn is due to appear before Brighton Magistrates’ Court on November 2.
