Crime scene investigators were at a city railway station this morning after reports of an early morning assault.

Police were called to Chichester Station at 3.49am today (November 10).

Officers were on the scene with paramedics who treated two people for their injuries, which were not life-threatening.

An area of the car park was cordoned off while police carried out an initial investigation of the scene.

A spokesman for the British Transport Police said: “Enquiries into this incident are ongoing.
