A new supermarket has opened in town.

The Morrisons Daily – a smaller, more convenient version of the supermarket - opened in Springfield Road, Horsham.

It includes an off licence and a Costa Coffee station.

A Morrisons spokesperson said: "The new Morrisons Daily is open in partnership with Tap Retail and offers customers a carefully tailored mix of Morrisons own brand products alongside branded favourites.

"As well as new ranges, the store has received a complete redesign internally and externally incorporating Morrisons bright, modern branding.

"Fresh food is at the heart of the store and we hope customers will love it."

The shop is the first branch of Morrisons to open in Horsham, but a large Morrisons supermarket is planned to be built on the new Mowbray development in north Horsham.

To celebrate the recent opening, and launch a “fun day” to raise money for charity Horsham Matters, Horsham District Council’s chairman cut the ribbon at the supermarket.

Councillor David Skipp cut the ribbon with store manager Kelly and members of the team.
