A Britain’s Got Talent finalist is on the hunt for the UK’s best choir.

Tom Ball, from Burgess Hill, appeared on the hit TV show in 2022 and is now taking his career to the next level with a new album and tour.

The music teacher wowed the BGT judges and crowds with his rendition of Sam Smith’s Bond theme Writing’s On The Wall and made it all the way through the competition to place third.

Tom is now looking for choirs of all ages, genres, backgrounds and sizes to showcase their talent on a new track from his debut album Curtain Call due for release on Westway Music on March 29.

As well as the opportunity to appear on Curtain Call, the 25-year-old will be looking for choirs to join him on his 14-date debut headline UK tour in the spring.

Tom, who was also a golden buzzer finalist on America’s Got Talent All Stars in February, will perform at The Capitol, Horsham, on Friday, March 29.

“From BGT to my American adventures on AGT All Stars, TV has given me so many incredible opportunities and now I’m living my dreams recording my first album and travelling the world performing,” said Tom.

“My search to find the UK’s best choir is my moment to give back and help somebody else fulfil their singing dreams. There’s so much talent in this country and I can’t wait to see the entries.”

Tom’s album promises a mix of self-written songs and classic covers. It also features Winter Song, which he hopes will gain him a Christmas number one.

The single is written by Take That’s Gary Barlow OBE and Grammy Award-winning producer Eliot Kennedy.

To enter a choir people must send a video (MP4) of their choir singing any song of their choice to hq@officialtomball.com.

Everyone in the video must have agreed that the video may be used online for marketing of the competition and/or the tour and any children’s choirs must get written approval from all parents before entering.

The closing date is January 31 and winning choirs will be notified by February 9, with recording date some time between February 12 and March 1.
