The Sussex Cricket Foundation has received a £5,000 boost thanks to a pair of generous donations.
Some £2,600 was raised by The Rugby Lodge of Sussex No.9990 at an event in November where Sussex Cricket CEO Rob Andrew shared stories from his glittering career.
An auction, raffle and games helped to raise the sum which was then matched by The Sussex Masonic Charitable Foundation, taking the total to just over £5,000.

Rob said: “We are extremely grateful to both The Rugby Lodge of Sussex No.9990 and The Sussex Masonic Charitable Foundation for their incredibly generous donation to the Sussex Cricket Foundation.
“The donation will enable the foundation to continue making a difference in the lives of local people, through the game that we all know and love.”
The foundation says it uses cricket to deliver accessible and enjoyable opportunities that grow the sport, tackle inequalities, improve health and wellbeing and enable people to fulfil their potential.
