An independent supermarket that prides itself on sustainably and locally sourced goods has closed temporarily.
Customers noticed Hisbe, in York Place, Brighton, had closed at the beginning of this week.
The shop in Worthing’s Portland Road is also temporarily closed.
A sign on the shop door says: “Happy New Year Brighton.

“We’re sorry we are closed.
“Hopefully back soon…”
Hisbe has been approached for comment.
