Some residents have won £1,000 each in the People's Postcode Lottery.

Worthing residents in BN11 1RB with a lottery ticket were awarded the money in one of the fundraising lottery's daily prize draws. The postcode covers parts of Salisbury Road and Shelley Road.

They each now have £1,000 each.

Subscriptions to the postcode lottery supports a range of charities across the UK and the world.

A minimum of 33 per cent of the ticket prices goes to charity and over £1.1 billion in funding has been given to thousands of organisations and projects.

In November last year, residents with a lottery ticket in BN6 9FB postcode were awarded a £1,000 win in one of the fundraising lottery's daily prize draws.

The winning postcode belongs to the People's Postcode Lottery players who live in the Hassocks area of Mid Sussex.
