People have been invited to “duck the stress” at a wetland nature reserve - and can take a friend along free this weekend.
For World Wetlands Day on Friday, February 2, Arundel Wetland Centre, off Mill Road, Arundel, is encouraging visitors to visit the centre for a moment of calm.
The Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust (WWT), which runs the Arundel centre has announced that for the whole weekend, until Sunday, February 4, any paying visitor or WWT member visiting the Arundel site will be able to take a friend for free.

Activities running all World Wetland Day weekend at Arundel Wetland Centre include wild walks, toad talks and mud painting wild art alongside the regular pelican talk, boat safaris and diving duck fish feed.
Claire Hogben, WWT's Arundel centre manager, said: “At WWT we celebrate wetlands 365 days a year, but World Wetlands Day helps us bring even more people to our sites to share the beauty and serenity of these super-powered habitats.
“With the theme of World Wetlands Day this year focusing on wetlands and human wellbeing it’s the perfect weekend to share a moment of calm with your friends and loved ones.”
