Men with weapons tried to break in to a city centre home in the early hours of the morning.
Police were called to a residential address in Western Road, Brighton, near the junction of Preston Street at around 4am on Monday, January 29, to reports of an attempted aggravated burglary.
Now, police are appealing for witnesses to the incident.

A spokeswoman for Sussex Police said: "It was reported that men with weapons had attempted to enter the property before fleeing the scene.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances.
